Namaste! I'm Sapan Kumar, and for the past 23 years, I've been living and breathing the travel trade. Life was always about running between airports, planning itineraries, and managing tours. The constant hustle kept me busy, but deep down, gardening ka passion hamesha tha. Time ki kami ke wajah se, I could never really pursue it properly.
And that is when I discovered Urvann- my absolute favourite plant nursery that unites me with all my gardening needs in a day’s time.
Now that I run my own travel agency, finally mujhe waqt mila hai to connect with nature in my own small way. What started as a simple attempt to add some greenery to my balcony has become something much more meaningful.
Gardening, for me, has become my daily dose of therapy and gratitude. When I first started, mujhe bas itna pata tha that plants need water and sunlight. But slowly, maine realise kiya that every plant has its own unique character, almost like people do.
That's when I started giving them names, ones that would make my family and neighbours laugh their hearts out. Meet my gang: Gulab Singh (my rose bush that's quite the drama queen), Tulsi Rani ( keeps everyone in line), Yo Yo Money Singh (the money plant that's always showing off), and Jade Chopra (my succulent cutie).
What began as a few pots has now become my "Garden Army", where each plant plays its own role, creating this lovely little family atmosphere right on my balcony.
Delhi ka weather can be quite challenging for plants, but every time a new flower blooms or I spot fresh leaves, it feels like a proper achievement. The satisfaction is just incredible! Gardening has taught me that with consistency and genuine care, nature always gives back - peace of mind, positive energy, and this beautiful living environment that I call my own.
Urvann and Me!
Mere gardening passion ko Urvann ne fuel kara hai, and for the better. Urvann’s vast variety of plants has helped me discover absolutely gorgeous plants that look stunning in my sturdy grow bags.
I genuinely believe every home needs a green corner, one that brings balance, fresh air, and daily happiness into our lives. It doesn't matter if it's just one small pot on a windowsill or a full balcony setup like mine. The important thing is making that connection with nature, even on the busiest of days.
Trust me, once you start, aap ko bhi gardening ka keeda lag jayega!
