The Celosia Plant is a small genus of ornamental plants, that belongs to the Amaranthaceae family. The plant is popularly known as the ‘Cockscomb’, and is a favorite among gardeners for its ornamental value. The plant is native to tropical Africa. The flowering plant is very easy to grow and is easily able to tolerate heat and humidity. The plant looks elegant when placed in a vase or in pretty bouquets.

Celosia has no serious pest issues but, it is susceptible to root rot, and the yellowing of foliage due to overwatering.
